Een must see! Het interview met Dawkins aan het einde (1:29:00) is hilarisch! De man is gebrainwashed met evolutie!

Het interview:

STEIN: “Then who did create the heavens and the earth? ”

DAWKINS: “Why do you use the word “who”? You immediately make the question by using the word who..”

STEIN: “Well, how did it get created?”

DAWKINS: “Well, ehm…. by a very slow process..”

STEIN: “well.. how did it start?”

DAWKINS: “…. We know the kind of event that it must have been, we know the sort of event that must have happened for the origin of live”

STEIN: “and what was that?”

DAWKINS: “it was the origin of the first self-replicating molecule”

STEIN: “right, and how did that happen?”

DAWKINS: “I told you, we don’t know..”

STEIN: “so you have no idea how it started? “

DAWKINS: “No no, nor as anybody”…

STEIN: “what do you think of the possibility that intelligent design might turn out to be the answer to some issues in genetics or in evolution?”

DAWKINS: “Well, it could come about in the following way. It could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the universe, a civilization evolved, probably by some kind of Darwinian means, probably to a very high level of technology, and designed a form of life that they seeded onto perhaps this planet. Now, um, now that is a possibility, and an intriguing possibility. And I suppose it’s possible that you might find evidence for that if you look at the details of biochemistry, molecular biology, you might find a signature of some sort of designer.” And that designer could well be a higher intelligence from elsewhere, in the universe,…. that higher intelligence would itself have had to have come about, by some ultimately explicable process, he couldn’t have just  jumped into existence spontaneously , that’s the point”

STEIN off the record: “So professor Dawkins was nog against ID, just certain types of designers, such as God”

STEIN: “So the Hebrew God of the old testament, he doesn’t exist in your view?”

DAWKINS: “Ehm.. certainly, I mean that would be a very unpleasant prospect”

STEIN: “and the Holy Trinity of the New Testament?..”

DAWKINS: “no, .. nothing like that”

STEIN: “do you believe in the hindoe gods?”

DAWKINS: “How can you ask such a question?..could I?….How would I given that I believe in any others?”

STEIN: “So you don’t believe in any God anywhere?”

DAWKINS: “Any go anywhere would be completely incompatible with, with, with anything I have said”

STEIN: “I’m trying to make sure, you don’t believe in any God, anywhere…”

STEIN: “What if you , after you die, you run into God, he’s like: “what were you doing?” I have tried being nice to you, I gave you a multi-million dollar pay check, over and over and over again with your book, and look what you did?…

DAWKINS: “Bertram Russell does have had that point put to him, and he said ehm, something like: “Sir, why did you take such pains to hide yourself?.. “

STEIN off the record: “But if the ID people are right, God isn’t hidden, we may be able to encounter God thru science, if we have the freedom to go there!”
